Jim Conrad, who put this site together, occasionally accompanies individuals or very small groups on trips to Mexico to gather more material for this site -- more photos, interviews, essays.

If you'd like to go along, we'd take trips to artisan villages to photograph and conduct interviews with "producers of mercado goods," who later would be featured at this site. We'd stay in whatever kind of hotel you like, eat real Mexican food, and travel the way Mexicans travel, on their wonderful bus system. This would keep the cost down and make the experience infinitely more interesting for us all.

Jim is not operating a regular business and has no travel insurance. Our cooperation on this endeavor would be informal. Basically, you'd take care of Jim's expenses in exchange for experiencing some things most tourists never do. We could discuss your interests first by email, then later by phone.
